Stephen Barr provides overall management for Dining Services, Dining Operations and Retail Services at Virginia Commonwealth University. With over 10 years of experience in higher education auxiliaries, Stephen implements policies and initiatives that exemplify excellent customer service. He leads the negotiation, development, and management of large and complex contracts, ensuring that units are professionally managed, meet customer needs and support the academic mission of VCU in a cost-effective and self-sustaining manner. In 2016 Stephen received his Certified Auxiliary Services Professional (CASP) certification from the National Association of College Auxiliary Services. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Design from the University of New Orleans and a Master in Public Administration from Louisiana State University.
